- Diving in Rarotonga
is excellent. There are many diving locations with superb visibility (100-200 feet). There are wrecks to explore as well as brilliantly coloured coral and fish. The most interesting facet is the drop-off which starts at around 100 feet and descends vertically down to 12,000 feet. There are also two wrecks to explore and fish to hand-feed. Canyons, caves, and varieties of coral, including plate, shelving, mushroom and brain, make it a most unusual terrain. Rarotonga is an ideal place to learn scuba diving. The tuition offered is professional and fees are probably the lowest in the world and your international qualification will enable you to dive anywhere - at home or overseas.
