GINA'S GARDEN LODGES - 4 Island Style Bungalows located on in a pretty garden setting with lush vegetation. Located inland from the Aitutaki Lodges, the bungalows feature 2 double beds downstairs with a a single bed located in the mezzanine loft accessed by a staircase. Each bungalow is fully screened, with standing fans and include full kitchen facilities with small stove with oven, electric fry pan, toaster, electric jug and refrigerator. AKAIAMI PARADISE LODGE - Akaiami Island located approximately 13 kilimetres from mainland Aitutaki, is the historical site where the flying boats landed which were operated by TEAL, Tasman Empire Airlines now known as Air New Zealand. Passengers would disembark at the jetty on Akaiami and then travel by boat to Rarotonga Island. You can still view the old jetty that was used. The Teal Retreat has been rebuilt where the original terminal stood. The Resort consists of a 1 bedroom lodge constructed out of Mango, Pine, Mahogany, Coconut, and Micro Kapa. The master bedroom features a double bed with mosquito netting. The overisized lounge features a dining table and chairs with ceiling fan and also a double bed and single bed. The bathroom features a flush toilet and shower. The fully equipped kitchen features fridge/freezer, cook top, coffee plunger, and toaster. There is solar power with hot water. Newly constructed are two beachfront studio bungalows. They should be ready for occupancy approximately December 2003. Transfers to the island are provided by wooden boat. There is a caretaker on the property to look after your needs. Akaiami Paradise Lodge can accommodate up to 8 persons in the lodge. Free use of Kayaks. Children Welcome.

GINA'S AKAIAMI BEACH LODGE - Akaiami Beach Lodge was once a family home, however, now converted to a holiday retreat. The lodge has 3 bedrooms each opening on to a open plan sitting lounge which extends the length of the home. Each bedroom features a table and 2 chairs and a double bed and a single bed with mosquito netting over the double bed. The bedrooms have insect screens and louvre windows. There is a separate building which houses the dining room which features a long picnic table and benches and a fully equipped kitchen including gas stove, electric frying pan, toaster, tea & coffee making facilities, and refrigerator. The Lodge has electrical lighting, powered by generator as well as kerosene lamps. Electricity is not on all the time, but is supplied in the mornings to cook breakfast and also in the evenings. There is a separate toilet and shower block located approximately 20 feet from the main lodge with two flush toilets and a fresh water shower. There is a caretaker on the island to look after your needs. Transfer to Akaiamai Island are provided by twin engine 115hp 24ft motor cruiser. The lodge can accommodate from 1 person up to 13 persons as there are 4 single beds in the lounge. The Lodge will ensure that you have the accommodation to yourself if you specify this requirement when making reservations. Children Welcome

THE GREATEST FIND IN ALL OF THE SOUTH PACIFIC - What a fabulous location for this beach batch located on Tapuaetai Island commonly called "One Foot Island". Imagine spending your days all by yourself on the most beautiful island of the Cook Islands and perhaps the most beautiful of the entire South Pacific. The beach batch has running water, modern shower and flush toliet.Lighting is by kerosine lamps and cooking by a gas oven top or BBQ. The batch features 1 x double bed, 1 x single bed and 2 bunk beds. There is also a hammock if you wish to sleep outdoors.The Bedroom is located upstairs with attached veranda looking out to sea. The small kitchen area, toilet and shower are located downstairs. There is a picnic table facing the lagoon on the covered porch for dining. You will need to bring food supplies from Rarotonga (this is recommended as the markets in Rarotonga have a better selection of foodstuffs). Every afternoon, the cruise boats will visit bringing tourists for a couple of hours. The balance of the time you are the sole occupants on the island. You are able to order food and drink supplies most days from Aitutaki Lagoon Adventures. Your order will then be delivered the following day. What a fabulous place to spend your holiday!!
