- Rarotonga House Rentals (Nikao Avarua, Tupapa & Matavera)

RAROTONGA HOTELS, HOLIDAY HOMES, HOUSE RENTALS, & BEACH COTTAGES on Rarotonga Island range from budget to moderate to deluxe properties including Rarotonga Beach Bungalows, Cook Island Resorts, Rarotonga Hotels and Holiday Homes at special reduced weekly rates. Locations range from homes and cottages directly on the beach to those offering garden settings. As Rarotonga is a relatively small island, no home is further than a 5 minute walk to the beach. All prices are based on a weekly rental and rates are listed per home (regardless of the number of persons) and include tax. The minimum rental is 7 nights. Additional nights are costed on a pro-rata basis. All house rentals include sheets, towels, linen, cooking facilities with dishes, glasses, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. Maid service is not included unless specified. Servicing of homes can be arranged for additional cost of NZ$50 per service.

NIKAO BEACH BUNGALOWS- 2-self contained bungalows located on the beach at Nikao, close to Avarua Town. There is a studio bungalow which features king size bed, private shower and toilet, and kitchen facilities including fridge/freezer, cook top, microwave, tea & coffee making facilities. The 2-bedroom bungalow features 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 bedroom with king size bed which can be converted to 2 single beds.. There is a private shower and toilet, separate lounge and kitchen which features fridge/freezer, electric stove, microwave, tea & coffee making facilities. Both bungalows have private telephones, TV, and ceiling fans. There is shared washing facilities and BBQ. Neighbourhood shop (open 24 hours per day) is located across the street as well as the main bus route.

VILIANE’S FALE – BED & BREAKFAST - This spacious, new 2 bedroom top storey apartment is located on the hillside bordering lush surrounds and 15 minutes casual walk from the beachfront. It has a large open veranda that overlooks the village and the ocean. Breakfast is provided. This is an ideal opportunity to experience Cook Islands hospitality at its best and guests are invited to join in and share family meals. The apartment has 2 single beds in 1 bedroom and 1 double and 1 single in the other bedroom. There is also an opportunity to share meals with the family who resides in the apartment below. The house is complete with private phone, Stereo, Television, DVD player, laundry facilities, kitchen fridge, microwave, toaster and electric jug. 5 adults maximum or 2-3 adults plus 2-3 children.

TAPAE HOLIDAY HOME - A bargain property, this new , superior 2- bedroom home is located opposite the Rarotonga Fishing Club and set back off the main road. It has a view to the mountains. There are 2 bedrooms, the first bedroom has 1 queen size bed and 1 single bed and the second bedroom has 2 modern bunk beds. The house has a fully equipped kitchen/dining area with Fridge/Freezer, upright fans, oven, gas stove, microwave, kayaks, toaster and tea & coffee making facilities. The lounge features TV, DVD and clock radio. The house also features a washing machine. Close to a local grocery shop and bus stop. Attached to the Beach House is 1 bedroom cottage featuring double bed, private shower and toilet, and fully equipped kitchen. There is a patio and garden area with walkway to the beach. Also featured is communal laundry facilities. Fare Supplies is located across the street from the property and is open 24 hours. There is local bus service also and is approximately 10 minutes to Muri Beach. The beach at Matavera is a marvelous place to collect shells, and enjoy the spectacular sunsets, but not especially good for swimming due to the makatea (coral).Children Welcome.
