Polynesian attire may be rented or purchased. Another apparel option is for the bride to wear a local pareau and the groom a Polynesian shirt.

The wedding in the Catholic Church is done the Cook Island way with a full Cook Island Choir singing Maori songs. You are greeted outside the church by a Warrior who welcomes you on your wedding day.
